Presbyterian Women's Circle
Presbyterian Women
First Tuesday of each month, September through May
In-person (11:30 a.m.) and online (7:00 p.m.) options available
All women of Westminster are invited to be part of our Presbyterian Women’s Circles (also known as PW). As part of the worldwide Presbyterian Women organization, we share in this vital mission:
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
to support the mission of the church worldwide,
to work for justice and peace, and
to build an inclusive, caring community of women that
strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and
witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Study time uses the annual Presbyterian Women study publication, Horizons. It’s developed by women for women, and tackles topics and issues that are significant to Christians everywhere.
Recent PW mission efforts include refurbishing the Joe Gettys classroom, placing new picnic tables on the Westminster grounds, and purchasing new table covers for the Fellowship Hall.
Above all, Westminster’s PW Circles are an exceptional setting for building strong bonds with your fellow churchwomen and sharing your common interests and concerns. Enjoy meaningful programs and lively conversation during the regular meetings, and celebrate the conclusion of the program year with a festive gathering, often hosted at a PW member’s home.
