PFLAG—Supporting LGBTQ+ People and Those Who Love Them

Fourth Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Joe Gettys Room

Being “an inclusive community of faith” is a cornerstone of Westminster’s identity. One facet of our commitment to that ideal is hosting the Greenwood chapter of PFLAG. It is the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. PFLAG is a 501(c)(3) charity.

Founded in 1973 by a mother and her gay son, PFLAG was born from the unified front of a family leading with love. An inspiring alliance of LGBTQ+ people and their loved ones continues to fuel PFLAG, fifty years later. PFLAG’s network of hundreds of chapters and more than 325,000 members and supporters are helping create an equitable and inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved.

For more information about PFLAG, visit their website (pflag.org), or contact your Mission & Outreach Chair, Laine Horowitz at lainewpc@gmail.com.
